There’s always more to do and work on. Especially with one’s health.
Been working on taking my health to the next level this year. From more time in the gym, additional physical therapy, a planned week at the Mayo Clinic in July to see if there’s anything else that can be done for my nerve issues, and now extensive blood work. There are many steps to take if we want to prolong our life and possiblyy prevent certain conditions (cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart disase, diabetes) from happening or atleast address the onset much earlier.
Had my first labs last week for function health. The yearly annual has about 100+ tests and then you do it again 6 months later. That test covering about 60 things. This all together costs $500 which seemed like a good use of money as often your primary will test for much less and only once a year. There are also additional tests which cost money. A few that I also paid for. The led to 13 vials of blood last weekend and 15 today. Which is something to be prepared for.
